The new AOI underwater ports for the Olympus OM-D series housings allow you to expand your system with the addition of new lenses. The DLP-02 dome lens port is designed for the Panasonic 8mm Fisheye Lens and allows you to get up close and personal with the underwater world. The dome-shaped front element corrects for the size distortion that occurs underwater, which causes everything to look larger and closer. Designed especially for very wide-angle lenses like the 8mm, it enables you to reduce the amount of water between you and your subjects for clearer, more accurate images, while fitting more in the frame.
The front element is crafted from acrylic. The tulip-shaped dome shade blocks stray light to prevent lens flare, while also offering some added protection against impact and allowing the port to maintain a light weight. The acrylic dome is a more affordable option over glass and can be polished if scratched. Built for durability, the port body is made from aluminum that has been hard anodized for resistance to corrosion.
